We are so excited to start practices this week! Please make sure you have downloaded the SwimTopia app to your phones and have enabled alerts so you are able to receive messages about any last-minute practice cancellations. These messages are sent out as soon as we know via SwimTopia which is often up to 15 minutes prior to any email communication.

Spring Outdoor Practice: Starts this week!

Keep an eye on alerts regarding weather changes and cancellations. The outside temperature must be above 60 degrees for swimmers to get in the water and lightning strikes can not be closer than 10 miles.

Monday, 5:00-6:00pm for ALL: dry-land

Mondays practice will be a dry-land Meet-and-Greet for coaches and swimmers. Swimmers should come wearing tennis shoes but no pool attire for Monday’s practice will be needed. Swimmer expectations for the season will be discussed and coaches will work with your swimmers on setting personal goals that are focused on swimmer growth.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

10 & Under: 5:00-5:45 pm

11 & Up: 5:45-6:30 pm

Friday,

There is no practice on Friday as it is opening day for the pool.

Mini’s

Placement Sessions: must attend one

Session 1: Wednesday, 4:00-4:30pm 

Session 2: Thursday, 4:00-4:30pm

Junior Coaches application is still open through this Friday. 

Jr Coach requirements:

Must be 13+ years old (or a returning Jr Coach from last year)

Have their own personal means of communication

Positive, patient attitude and willingness to learn

We need ONE more Stroke & Turn Judge. You must be willing to issue DQ’s for this position across all age groups. This position is considered a meet official and requires training. This training can be completed around your own schedule so, if you are interested, please send us an email so we can work to get you certified and ready for your first meet. Thank you for all your help supporting our team!

Team Store (Round 2) closes tomorrow, May 18

Out of Breath has opened our team store for a second round of orders. These orders must be placed by midnight on May 18. The store will not open a third time so this is the final call for gear. As a reminder, the original blue/green suit was back ordered and the suits will now be blue. Please see the attached photo for a picture of the suit design.

Fees & Volunteer Checks - Due May 26

All fees and volunteer checks must be submitted by May 26 for your swimmer to be eligible to participate this season. This includes spring swim sessions attended but not yet paid for.

Barracudathon: July 8

Our second Barracudathon will be taking place on July 8. Information has been posted to our website if you would like to get a jump start on gathering donations.
