Coaching updates
Barracuda swimmers and parents,
We are excited to welcome some fresh faces to our Barracuda coaching staff this season!
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our new coaches, Evan Montgomery and Paige Perricone who bring great energy, experience, and enthusiasm to the pool. They’re looking forward to helping swimmers of all levels improve their skills, build confidence, and have a fun, successful summer.
To learn more about each of our coaches, including their backgrounds and experience, please visit the Coaches page on SwimTopia.
At this time, we would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jenna and Griffin for their dedication and impact on our team. Their leadership, positivity, and commitment have meant so much to our swimmers and families over the past seasons.
While we’re sad to see them go, we’re incredibly proud of both Jenna and Griffin as they take on new opportunities near their colleges this summer. We wish them all the best and hope to see them back on deck in the future!
Let’s make it a great season—go team!

A final word from Coach Jenna:
Dear Barracuda families,
I am writing to let you know that I have made the tough decision not to continue coaching the barracudas this summer. Upon my graduation in May, I will be staying in Arizona to prepare myself for what’s next in my academic and professional life!
I would like to express my appreciation and thanks to this community. I started swimming with the Barracudas when I was 8 and have greatly enjoyed being able to coach for the past 6 years; this team will always have a special place in my heart.
I want to thank you all for entrusting me to coach and mentor your kiddos over the years. Growing up I always wanted to coach for this team and it turned out to be one of the best experiences. Getting to know your kids and watching them grow up is an experience I will always cherish. While I won’t be by the pool this summer, I’ll be cheering from afar!
Wishing you all the best,
Jenna
