Barracuda Blast: important League information!
Happy Sunday Barracudas,
Welcome to the last week of our regular season. We have our big fundraiser on Tuesday morning and our league meets are this Friday/Saturday. There is A LOT of information in this blast. Do not hesitate to reach out to a parent committee member or Coach Maddie for clarification.

We are trying something new this year with our fundraising and hoping to raise $5,000 for our swim team. These funds will pay for all of our events and supplies outside of basic operating costs which are paid for by our registration fees. Our end-of-season banquet is the largest ticket item and will cost the team around $3,000 this year. This cost includes food and the awards that are given to each swimmer every year. The excess funds we raise beyond $3000 will be earmarked for Pirate’s Cove, social events, replacing stop-watches, upgrading our starter’s equipment, and miscellaneous needs such as printer paper and caution tape.
We are at $970 dollars raised as of this email (does not include pledge amounts)!

You can also have friends text ‘barracudas’ to 33100 to get the donation link
Please help us reach our goal by texting your swimmer’s donation page to friends and family. Every swimmer can be found by visiting the Participant Center and then selecting, Participants. From there, you are able to search and select your swimmer. Each swimmer has a link share button to their own personal donation page.
League Theme
This year the theme for league is the same for all teams and there will be no judging. The theme will be “Team Spirit”. We will be celebrating the barracudas and our fellow league teams during both Silver and Gold meets. Parents, please wear barracuda gear or our team colors to the meet.
To support this theme, we are asking parents and swimmers to join us poolside on Wednesday at 5:30 to make inspirational clothespins to ‘clip’ to swimmer’s bags from other teams. See you there!
