Outdoor season is officially here! For the remainder of the season, expect a Barracuda Blast to hit your email boxes on Sunday. These emails will contain our practice schedule for the week, general information about upcoming meets and any special events or approaching deadlines. More detailed information about each meet will be communicated by Coach Maddie towards the end of each week. 

Practices for the week of May 19-23

We will hold both dry-land and pool sessions during the week. Monday and Friday we are not allowed to use the pool so these two days will be dry-land. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be our first outdoor pool practices of the season.

Monday and Friday: Dry-land @ Sunset Park

5:00-7:00 pm (all ages)

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Pool practice @ Village Center

5:00-6:00 pm (10 & under)

6:00-7:00 pm (11 & up)

Mini's Updates

We will be holding a Mini swimming assessment on Wednesday from 4:30-5:00 pm. This is to ensure that all of our Mini's are placed in the appropriate level. If you are unable to attend, please reach out to Coach Maddie to schedule an assessment for a different day.

Volunteer Sign-ups

The volunteer sign-ups have opened. All families will be required to complete 6 shifts per family (NOT per swimmer). Each shift = 1 point in the system. At this time all season-long shifts have been filled so we are needing meet and event volunteers. Please review the dates, times, and job functions carefully before committing. Families who do not fulfill the required 6 shifts by the end of the season will forfeit their volunteer check.

Gear from the Barracuda Team Store

Our first round of swim gear has arrived and will be available for pick-up beginning at our first practice on Monday, May 19. Come find a parent committee member at the tables under the shelter at Sunset Park for your stuff. If you miss us on Monday, we will be hauling gear to and from practices all week. Please be kind to us and pick it up asap!
