Happy Sunday Barracudas,

Meet Results

Congratulations to all our swimmers for their excellent performance over the weekend! The attached meet results reflect the outstanding efforts and hard work of our athletes. We have a special shout-out to our minis and the parents who participated this weekend:

  • Bravo, Mini-Barracudas! You have conquered the pool! May this accomplishment be the first of many as you continue to excel in your swimming journey.
  • A big round of applause and congratulations to our dedicated parent relay teams for their fantastic participation in the event this weekend.
  • Thank you, and congratulations, to our coaches who showed true sportsmanship and emerged victorious!

As we approach our final regular season meet before League, it is crucial that we maintain our momentum and focus. The coaches expect full attendance during these last two weeks.

Private lessons

30-minute private lessons are approved by Grant Ranch! These will occur every M, T, W between 5:00-6:30 pm and will start tomorrow before evening practice. Please call or visit the front desk to register your swimmer for a lesson. They will be $30 per lesson with Coach Stewart, Coach Jenna, or Coach Griffin and this will be paid at the time of registration.

Final Meet

Our final meet of the regular season is this upcoming weekend against Columbine Knolls and Woodbourne. Please have entries submitted by Wednesday at 5:00 pm. If your swimmer is attempting to earn the "Iron Man" for their age group, this is the final meet to complete those swims.

  • The "Iron Man" is when a swimmer competes in all events for their age group over a season. Your swimmer will receive recognition at the end of the season for this accomplishment.

League

League is fast approaching. All swimmers who have competed in at least two meets during the regular season AND have an event time are eligible to participate in League. Please reach out to the coaches or the Parent Committee if you have any questions regarding eligibility.

League is not only a time for fierce competition but also a chance for teams to have some fun. During the meet, each team gets to select a theme and be judged based on their creativity and execution. It adds a creative element to the event and allows teams to showcase their spirit and camaraderie. Our theme this year is the re-emergence of a classic Denver iconic restaurant: Casa Bonita, South Park Style

If you have Spanish attire or just have some great ideas on how to support this theme, please let us know! We are working hard behind the scenes but could always use a little help!

End-of-Season Team Banquet:

Please mark your calendars for July 25 from 5:00-7:30 pm. This is the coaches opportunity to recognize your swimmers and the parents' opportunity to thank the coaches. We are looking for dessert donations so if you have a favorite dessert recipe you would like to share, please reach out and let us know what you will be bringing.

Pirate's Cove Night:
