Hello Barracuda families,

There are a lot of upcoming dates to keep in mind so please read this email in its entirety.

GEAR

The Barracudas Team Store will close on April 30^th at midnight. All orders MUST be placed by this date, no exceptions. This guarantees delivery before our first home meet on June 3rd. Please order suits, swim fins, personalized caps, and any other gear before the deadline. After this deadline, the Out of Breath store will be available for limited in-person purchases on suits (suit not guaranteed), personalized team gear will not be available.

Additionally, your swimmer must have goggles. Please see the FAQs sheet on our website for more information about recommended goggles. It is HIGHLY suggested to replace the strap on your swimmers’ goggles with a bungee strap. Those are also linked in the FAQs page.

SPRING SWIMS

Our Spring Swims at Lilley Gulch are in full force! Thank you to all the families who have registered their swimmers for these spring swims. This is a huge benefit to the team to have so many swimmers who will enter the season with a foundation of drill knowledge and a firm understanding of expectations. There are still a few open spots, so please join us for these last 2 swims before we jump into our outdoor pool in mid-May. SPRING SWIM SIGN-UP HERE

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Thank you to everyone who has registered for the season. We're excited to share that we already have around 85 swimmers this year! The deadline to secure a team t-shirt has passed but we will still accept registration through May 12^th. REGISTRATION SIGN UP HERE

Payment is now being accepted at the Village Center. The payment deadline is May 27^th. You may pay the team fees by either card or check (made out to Grant Ranch Master HOA); however, the $350 volunteer deposit must be by check (made out to Swim Team Grant Ranch). Please print a copy of your registration verification with you when you go to pay.

VOLUNTEER SHIFTS

Volunteer shifts will open on May 1^st at 7 a.m. Your family is required to complete 5 shifts during the season. It is highly recommended to sign up for these shifts early as the most coveted positions fill up quickly. We will close this sign-up May 26^th so please make your selections before this date. If you are unsure of the job responsibilities, the job descriptions can be found HERE on our Swimtopia website. Reach out to the parent committee if you have any medical requirements that limit your volunteer options, and we will assist in placing you with the right job.

PIRATES COVE NIGHT

Date: June 13^th, 6-8 p.m.

This is our most loved event of the season. We host an evening of fun all to ourselves at Pirate’s Cove. NO LINES FOR ANYTHING! This “fun”draising event is open to the whole community so, please, invite your family, friends, and neighbors. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
