April 4th

Thanks to all of the families who attended our first Spring Swim last night! It was great to see so many new and returning swimmers and parents! This summer is going to be GREAT!

Stop by the Village Center from 4-6 p.m. this Tuesday, April 5th:

Monica from Out of Breath Sports will be at the Village Center for Suit Sizing. The team store is open until April 24, 2022. Monica will be placing suit orders each Friday until 4/24. If your swimmer wants a team suit, please try to order as soon as possible to avoid delivery delays. TEAM SUITS are NOT required.

The Village Center will be accepting fee payments starting tomorrow, Tuesday April 5th. Please bring a separate check for the Volunteer deposit for $350 made payable to "Swim Team Grant Ranch". (This check will only be cashed if you do not complete your required volunteer hours). ***Please note, the Village Center is only able to accept CHECKS tomorrow for fee payments. They will be accepting credit card payments starting this Wednesday, April 6th. Please visit the Village Center during normal operating hours (9 – 5 pm) to pay with a credit card.

Stroke and Turn Judges Needed

Please visit the "Events/Meets" page on Swimtopia. We have opened the signups for "Training - Officials and Computer Operator". We need several meet officials throughout the season—please consider attending one of the two training sessions (either May 4th or May 10th) to help the team with this very important volunteer role. Computer training will also be provided on May 4th; this covers the volunteer position of inputting swim times and printing results and labels during home meets. You will receive one volunteer shift credit for attending this training.

Volunteer Update:

Currently, we require families to complete 5 volunteer sessions throughout the season. Each session is between 2 and 2.5 hours. While many of the sessions occur at the swim meets, some can be done at home or at other times. We will be opening the volunteer signups in May and will be spending time over the next month explaining the details of each position.
