Swim Team Registration is Open!

We are super excited for all the interest we’ve received for the upcoming 2022 Summer Swim Season and we are happy to announce that REGISTRATION IS OPEN! Click here! The link is on the right side of the homepage. 

Registrations will be completed in two phases, as we did last year:

First, please complete the online registration as soon as possible.

We will be ordering team shirts for each swimmer, so in order to get a shirt, we must have you registered with shirt size information by April 9th. 

We will be doing ONE order for swim caps this season. Due to supply and shipping delays, we will order 1 swim cap per registered swimmer. These caps will not be personalized this year, as we need to get the order in quickly.

Second, please visit the Village Center to pay your fees! Stop by during normal business hours (M-F 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or during the swim suit sizing on April 5th from 4-6 p.m. You can pay the season fees via check or credit card, and you will also be required to leave your volunteer deposit check (made payable to Swim Team Grant Ranch) for $350.

We are working on setting up Swimtopia with volunteer shifts for this season. We will have the regular positions required to run our home swim meets and will also post shifts/jobs that are outside of the swim meet setting to accommodate families who are unable to cover those shifts or prefer to fulfill their volunteer requirement in another manner. One example is our fundraiser on Tuesday, July 12th from 6-8 p.m. at Pirate’s Cove. We have rented out the pool for the evening for our swim team families and our neighborhood friends.

The team store will open soon! We have new team suits this year; we get new suit styles every other year (in hopes that the kiddos don’t grow too fast) and due to the fact that most suit designs don’t stick around for very long. The owner of Out of Breath swim store will be at the Village Center on April 5th for swim suit fittings. She will also have goggles and bungee straps. Goggles are one of the most important gear items for swimmers. Each year, our new swimmers struggle with finding goggles that fit, don’t leak, and don’t break–our family has had great luck with Speedo Vanquisher Jr’s and TYR Swimple Goggles. Make sure they are tinted or have mirrored/metalized lenses as backstroke is bright for these outdoor meets!

Spring Swims start on April 3rd; they will be from 4-5 p.m. at Lilly Gulch. The sign up link is OPEN on our homepage. 

We received some feedback that an hour was too long for our newest swimmers so we will break the Spring Swims up as follows:

4:00 - 4:30 pm: New Swimmers who have never swam on a swim team (limit 18)

4:30 - 5:00 pm: U12 Swimmers with 1 or 2 seasons of swim team experience (limit 18)

4:00 - 5:00 pm: Seasoned swimmers (limit 15)
