Tools to Inform Parents about Swimtopia's Mobile-App

We will have a parent committee member running the live meet updates throughout the morning. Please be patient, as this is our first time utilizing the tool. There will also be a white board posted near heating showing the events that are being called. 

Meet info from this morning's e-mail, if you missed it: 

Tomorrow is the big day! We can’t wait to see all these swimmers in the water! 

Tentative timeline:

6:00 - 6:25 a.m. — Warm ups for 11 and over
6:30 - 6:50 a.m. - Warm ups for 10 and under
6:50 a.m. - Team meeting in the heating area for our team cheer and coaches chat
7 a.m. - National Anthem (heats 1 - 10 to heating area; this includes the 8 and under relay teams)
At Approximately 8:45, after event 47, we will have a 15 minute break; this will start our second shift of volunteers. Please be ready by 8:45 a.m. 8:55 or when called by announcer.
9 a.m. - Events 49-51 to the heating areas

The meet should end by 11 a.m.

Other items:

• Grant Ranch Families should set up on the west side of the pool. This includes all of the tables directly to the west of the pool, and under the big tent on the north west side of the pool, and anywhere in the grassy area between the pool and the tennis courts.
• The playground will be CLOSED during the meet. Please help us keep your kiddos off the playground during the swim meet.
• We will have our concession stand for treats to buy for the kids and coffee and breakfast burritos will arrive between 7:45 & 8 a.m. This is a CASH ONLY concession stand.
• Make sure to bring warm clothes for your swimmers and lots of dry towels. It is chilly when the kids get out of the pool before 8 a.m.
• The North end of the pool will be used for heating (trying to spread out the kids more this year)
• The South end of the pool will be used for parents to watch their swimmers race!
